The purple jasmine rice mixture sold in bulk at Whole Foods? The one mixed with long grain white rice and short grain brown rice?

Uggh.

I like the Forbidden Emperor's rice (called black, but dark purple) but the jasmine in purple rice does not work for me. Very strong. Dyes anything it gets next to, even if items are mixed at the last minute.

Jasmine should perfume the night and fine green tea.

At least at my house!

Speaking of the Forbidden Rice - Have you tried the bamboo one? I keep looking at it, but it's expensive.
