Well, electric has been high this winter -- maybe $20 high. But of course they keep jacking up the rates, and when I'm having a bad spell, I don't notice these things in detail. Then, this month, the water bill almost doubled. So I said something -- I mean, I could take a bath twice a day and not double the water/sewage bill, right?

My hot water heater is rusting out. Explains everything. So a new one has been ordered, and if it comes in Monday, my bill may start behaving better soon.

I wish I could notice these things earlier. But I did finally notice, which is most important. And I still have hot water.
