Meme Time...

Taken from [livejournal.com profile] kaygo, who is spending too much time with memes. As someone who also can't concentrate, I sympathize...

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don’t search around and look for the “coolest” book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.

Long narrow nosepieces, fire-shadowed, made their faces look evil.

The Face in the Frost by John Bellairs

Ugh, the book at my left hand is Computer Systems, 3rd Edition, and page 123 has a table in it.

The fifth line is:

normalized 1 110 1110 -1.1110 X 2^3 -15.0

Well, I hope it's interesting!

Tough one, as I'm sitting in my computer room, and there are two books equidistant. The one on the left is Mallet's "Frazz: Live from Bryson Elementary", and the assigned sentence is: "No."
On the right is Elbow's "Writing with Power", and the assigned sentence is a line from a list: "Nausea."

Kinda of a negative way to start a day. :-P

Line Five clearly wasn't your line...
