Just stopping in to wish all a good night!
It's not a full moon, so we are safe for still another year from the Elder Gods' attempts to return to Earth. In the meantime, I wish a happy All Hallow's, All Saints and All Souls' nights to those who celebrate them, and Happy New Year to all celebrating Samhain!
For some of us, it's party time. For others, it's a time of transition, a reminder that we can't dodge the Last Healer when that being finally shows up. The Mexican and Central American tradition of celebrating the Days of the Dead (as many as three days in some regions) is one way of dealing with this reality. Dressing up in costumes to fool demons or vengeful dead is another way, though most have forgotten where the tradition began.
I come from a long-lived family, so it's possible I have finally reached the realistic halfway mark of my life. All I can say is, get out of my way -- the Powers That Be put me on Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now I am so far behind, I will never die!
I have been boxing, unboxing, moving boxes around like chess pieces -- and I found the living room! I think we can have house guests this weekend, and a party Thursday night. I just have to find the dining room. We're having between 25 and 100 people. Just for the record, I hate Evite.

Tomorrow night get to visit withkateelliot and Melanie Rawn! We'll see if they need creme brulee, gelato or just a decent cup of decaf.
