No Conestoga this year --
Well, I sent off the letter today telling Conestoga that I can't come this year. I did SoonerCon last weekend, and I still haven't done my con report -- mostly because I'm tired, and the ADD effect has been worse for several days. I want to do ApolloCon, and I don't think I can leave town for vacation at the end of the month, and be in any kind of shape to do Conestoga.
Part of the reason I wanted to do it was because in the past it's been such a cool convention, and I haven't seen Laurell Hamilton in several years -- it could have been good. But I hear she's got a bodyguard now (one of those unpleasant side-effects of being a bestselling author...) and I have the feeling I would not get to see much of her. They keep GoHs pretty busy. So...perhaps a different convention.
