When we had a 70% chance of rain last Thursday, it was sunny all day. So yesterday with only a 20% chance of rain, I decided not to bother with my umbrella.

And then it started raining on my way home. I wasn't too worried, because after all, it can be raining across the street from me and I'd still not get any rain. Only, the further north and west the bus was heading, the heavier the rain.

I'm sure you can see where this was going. I peeled off wet clothes when I got inside last night. The worst of the rain at my place ended around 8, but then I got to watch the lightening show for a while after.

I brought my damned umbrella with me today.
