Pics?

Okay--

How do people with no current web sites get their pics up there? I was going to tag a thumbnail on my web site--only 13k--but it's 200 by 200 pixels or so, too big. I could stash a smaller one on my server somewhere, but does having those tiny hidden files being accessed a lot increase the cost of anyone's site?

The implication is, we go to your broadband and hit each time it loads. True?

A tad fuzzy this pm--maybe that therapist squished out the brain cells, too...

For a Free Account, LJ allows you to save up to three pics on their server. If you have a photo program, you can downsize images yourself. Otherwise, you can Google Live Journal Icons and find sites containing same.

On the User Info page, try Manage User Pictures. I think this is the place to upload images. I confess I just poked around until I found the right place to go.

Ah--

I did some poking around, but did not get the feeling I could upload. But didn't try it. Found out if you upload to Orkut, you lose copyright to the photo, so nothing biz goes up!

Thanks for input--
