We saw it Friday afternoon. Speaking as someone who hates the actor playing Spock, i loved it. Great fun, good adventure, I like their gimmick for setting up their world. My main quibbles are Scotty's character not being right, and the new Kirk just doesn't have the charisma that the young Shatner did in the original. Otherwise, I thoroughly loved it. some nice surprises in some of the casting too.
