Hmm. I don't know. There are four magic things about the Kindle: ease of use/storage, wireless "spur of the moment" downloads, dictionary, and Wikipedia access. (I'm not putting down "sample" purchase, which is good mojo, and Ditto doesn't mention it.) As far as I can tell, the Ditto only has one, so at $100 cheaper than a kindle, it's still about $150 too much.

I'm not getting anything yet --

Even if I wanted to spend the money on one. Although depending on the eye thing, I may need to. As a writer, the royalty split is small -- they are taking a chunk o' change. I'm putting my SF into E-book to keep Amazon and Google from poaching....
