Cat update --

We're trying the cream version of the hyperthyroid med, and so far, after three applications, he is doing just fine. He may need more, since he's still talking up a storm, but I think we are on our way to something successful. I fear the thyroid is masking kidney disease, so no idea how long Merlyn will be with me, but the cream is not being rejected, and is a lot cheaper than the herbal preps for symptoms.
