E-Book Misconceptions

C.J Cherryh has an interesting post over on her Facebook about things folk do not understand about E-books, including that anyone with an average computer set-up can read an E-book (especially one done by an independent group, like Book View Cafe or Closed Circle, where Cherryh, Abbey and Fancher are putting out back list.)

Also, for books before c. 1922, there's Project Gutenberg (free 'plain vanilla' texts, no ads, no frills) and some other sites with frills and ads.
