For starters, dump the white potatoes....

Where do those extra pounds come from? Most of them come from potatoes, especially French fries. They may only add a half-pound a year, but that adds up quickly. Soda and alcohol follow up as big problems, too.

Pants too Tight? Blame it on Potatoes.

I find that nuts satisfy my hunger better, and are better for you -- nutrients, good oils etc. I suspect that milk that has been converted (like yogurt and cheese) is better than we suspect -- in moderation. I know I do find with dairy in Indian restaurants, and SofI makes their own cheese!

The thing about salt is, used at the right point in cooking, you don't need as much. You actually need hardly any -- meat naturally contains a lot of salt, as do other things. But most people don't get enough iodine -- that's what they need even more!
