I brought the muffins to a neighborhood gathering as an alternate for Mateo to whatever sweets were around. He was tentative at first (because he thought they were somehow related to the bread sticks you brought, which were too sour for his taste) but once he tried them he devoured all but one, which I saved for Rio, who also devoured his. A resounding success.
