So maybe no superpowers today...
This Magnavox 25" CRT TV is heavy! I managed to get it to a pile of papers on the massage table, but I don't think I can take it down the stairs. I'll have to bag it (in case something goes WRONG) and slide it down on a quilt.
It's going to recycling, so I don't have to be extremely careful.
But how will Sparky Librarian and I get the 27" one in here? And it probably won't fit on this credenza. We may have to rethink this...or I may have to watch for a TV sale and get a new one sooner than I'd planned.
Bother.
LATER: I eased it down the stairs on the quilted material, dragged it with the quilt and a cardboard box (flattened) to the trunk and set it halfway into the trunk.
Bungee cords are your friend!
Chivalry is dead -- no one offered to help with even the lift.
I went to the farmer's market, bank and UPS before Goodwill. No one stole the thing.

It was enough trouble that I am thinking about buying a cheaper reliable laptop and getting a small TV. The idea of getting that 27" into an upstairs apartment chills me. I am getting stronger, but not that strong yet!
