Speaking from the edge, though I'm not moving, if you can get a really good price for the king bed, take it. If all you can get a few dollars or freecycle, keep it.

Beds are pretty easy to replace, unless there's a specific reason why you need that particular bed, such as that your back turns into a screaming pretzel on any other mattress.
