I ended up using my Xmas gift card for several books, including Fair Game, when I realized that I got several of Pat's books on sale when Borders went under. So thought I'd add to her numbers.

She did some awesome stuff in the book, and the ending did not come out of nowhere for me -- I could see that a flashpoint was quite likely approaching. Oddly, perhaps, the major sex scene did not work well for me. But then I've never been overwhelmed to the point of endangering myself for sex. We'll leave it there to not spoil anything for others.

Did like the book very much!
