Singing the praises of Cheese...

W has gone to Bolero class--my hands are screaming after only one session today (thunderstorms, ack--arthritis doesn't like thunderstorms anyway. Painkillers kicking in...) So I have had a nice Empire apple with cashew butter and some real Emmenthaler (Swiss, not that wimpy French or American stuff) and Canadian Black Diamond Cheddar (the Reserve stuff, 2 years aged...I blush to admit it, but it does make a difference. The one year old stuff is good but I do not sing for it!)

Wallace and Grommit would approve....

Oh, yes.... I was trying to find a cheaper sharp cheddar I liked, feeling guilty about the price. But I only buy cheese maybe once a month for me-- W pointed out his Cave Aged Gruyere was two dollars more a pound, and why was I feeling guilty?

I bought the cheese.

It's not like we are $25-35 a pound of cheese and $50-100 a bottle of wine people. We're more like $10-25 wine and $5-15 cheese people...when we can budget for it!
