Well, actually, this is one of those times when they don't know. People have asked Kris. She says it could just be her number was up -- although she and Dean did have good protection on their sites. It just wasn't hysterical stellar protection.
Someone may have hit her because she has high numbers on Thursday, and the idea with malware is to disrupt something visibly. This has been serious enough that it has followed Kris to multiple sites. She's had to hire someone with a national reputation in site cleansing and protection to straighten it out, after days of trying with talented friends.
So -- someone p****d at her? Someone tired of her columns giving people so much info that it's affecting negotiations at the Big 6? (NOTE: I sometimes get as much info from ONE of Kris's columns as I used to get from an entire weekend swapping info at an SF convention.)
Perhaps what I should have said was "Kris is under attack at multiple sites. I recommend reading this on someone's mirror, and waiting a few days before trying her links, unless you have stellar protections on your machine."
