Texas HJR 6
Texans:
On April 11, 2005 the House Committee on State Affairs approved HJR 6, the
Anti-Gay Texas Marriage Amendment, by a vote of 6-1. Debate on the House
Floor of HJR 6 will now be scheduled and a vote on is expected in the house
by the end of April. Please contact your State Representative now to let them
know you oppose writing discrimination into our Constitution, and ask them to
VOTE NO on HJR 6.

This link can give you a boilerplate, but I encourage you to use some of the suggested language as a blueprint only, and write your own letter. Or add to it--that will mean more.
We may not stop this mess, but we can register our protest.
