I had help. We workshop the back copy at Book View Cafe. I asked a first reader some questions and then came up with a draft. Jen tweaked, and then I showed to the hive mind.

The only debate realy was whether I could slide "President Madison's administration" into the mix to further hammer down what part of the frontier we're talking about! We are getting talented in helping each other pin down what is essential.

It's much easier doing it for other people's books.

I'm waiting for the copy edit to come back before showing it to authors in hopes of blurbs.
