All right, let's say the word (RANT)
I always drop in at a few of the conservative blogs, just to see what the other side is doing. I used to call myself a social liberal and a fiscal conservative (as in balanced budget)--but the sheer amount of money spent by this administration shows the current Right has no idea how to save money. Now, New Orleans proves that they had no idea how to spend all the money they had control of.
Yes. I can blame the President. The buck stops at his desk. He has kept a pack of incompetents around himself. No one above the rank of minion is ever guilty of anything, even simply screwing up. Lord save me, he gives these incompetents medals. Daniel Shore on NPR ripped the Secretary of Homeland Security a new one yesterday, because the bumbler obviously had no idea what he was going to do. And I'm cheering Daniel on!
Andrew Sullivan has some stances I can agree with--he's a conservative who didn't like Kerry, but didn't trust Bush to handle the war in Iraq or anything else. Take a look at the letters he's received on September 2, 2005. Just that sample--from his readers, who are mostly Republicans.

There's only one word no one is using yet. They scream about "trembling in fear" at the idea of Bush being in control for three more years.
Not if we impeach him.
I don't know what has happened to this country--we have tried to impeach how many people in the past decade? But please, Powers That Be, tell me the Christian Right and the soccer moms FINALLY get it. This administration doesn't care squat about the people. They care about setting their cronies up for life.
Write your senators and representatives NOW and tell them that if they don't get either Bush OR his clearly incompetent cabinet out of the picture, they have lost your vote in the next election. And you will also vote against Bush's party, as your only weapon in a civilized world.
I'm a Boolean sort of person--I'm going to say Bush AND his cabinet.
