Virtual Postcards....

If someone here sent me a virtual postcard, you'll have to identify yourself. (It came through as anonymous, and as an .exe.) Otherwise, I'll delete it.

I like flying so low, I don't even show up on radar... .

Don't wait - delete it now.

That's a common virus vector.

Thankee, ye adorable geek!

What Bryce said: delete any emails with anonymous attachments immediately. And be very careful with attachments in emails from friends, too. No guarantee that their non-English speaking nephews couldn't have inadvertently downloaded something nasty while visiting over the summer. Not like that's happened to anyone you know, of course... ;-)

I thought I posted it, but you might have missed it--Bev brought one of her Chinese students with her to ArmadilloCon, a sweetheart girl, but she wanted to surf the Internet all night.

No problem. Downloading a Chinese MSN and something else Chinese on my machine and leaving it there to slow the running by 75% was more of a problem... . %^)

My husband and I just finished your small press book from Yard Dog press. It was wonderful. We especially enjoyed Ducks. It was thoughtful and moving. Thank you for sharing this story.

I've also been enjoying your LJ the last few days. I hope you do not mind that I friended you.

Not at all. I'm not a very exciting poster right now, since I'm dealing with some health issues. But you'll be on the cutting edge as the writing ramps up again!

Very cute icon. Does it have a story behind it?

It's a critter from http://www.creaturesinmyhead.com/creature.php. (The artist doesn't mind according to his site - if use is attributed.) His stuff is wonderful - but sometimes twisted. He has a new critter almost every day.

This one felt kind of Halloweenish.

I hope you feel better soon. :)

It reminds me of a sort of Toto-ish/Anime critter gone wild, for some reason. A baby critter playing Halloween, in fact!
