Another "Gotcha!" from the Insurance industry

Did you know about the CLUE database kept on addresses all over the country?

No, I didn’t either. If you own a home, or ever plan to, read this:

Hmm. So your house has a credit report, too. And you are entitled to access to that report just as often as you are your own credit report. Good information to keep in mind - thanks for the info.

State Farm has always been horrible about dropping people for minor things. I won't go near them. And reporting damage when you don't have to make a claim is just stupid. This isn't new. I didn't know there was a database, but I do know insurance companies have always communicated with each other. Around here some companies won't give you car insurance if you've been uninsured for more than six months. Insurance is, and always has been, a racket, and anyone who buys that "Like a good neighbor" crap is an idiot.

Not to put too fine a point on it.

And now I have an insurance company trying to tell me that the diagnosis code my doctor used for tendonitis was also for a botched injection, so they won't pay. Or maybe it's for my arthrotois exclusion, but it's not their problem.

I may have to decide if this insurance is worth keeping, if it will credit to my (high) deductible, and then not pay anything... Maybe keep for accidents, but not bother to file anything else.
