Last night my sweetie tried to tidy up my new computer trees by making only one My Documents for me, instead of 4 (ah, history...) I appreciated this.

We forgot my Dreamweaver accounts are in a sub-directory of My Documents.

So now Dreamweaver can't find anything, and of course my client who hasn't sent me anything on a convention 3 weeks away is now flooding the mailbox with things to go up.

Dear god, I hate this business.

Tonight, he will move that particular My Documents back, and with luck, Dreamweaver will forgive me.

Please, brain, heal so I can write a bestseller....

hey, that reminds me, I was going to ask you about your webmistressing rates... (I've been putting together a massive revamp, but have overreached my meager talents, and am not so proud I can't yelp for the pros as needed!)

We can talk, girlfriend. I'm not fancy, but I'm solid. (Perhaps we can make the New! gifs flash only a couple of times before going steady?)

Depends on what you need. I don't do Flash, but we can speak of other things! I have a flat rate for people who want me on stand-by, and then the other rate, which varies. Compared to quotes I've heard lately, I am attractively priced!

I was not born to be a web designer, however--I'm competent, I don't do eye-candy. My INTJness shows up in spades here--I want practical and classic! But I can do things that end up nice.

I don't DO Flash at all, actually. Take a look at what's up now, and if you give me a preferred e-mail (e-mail me at the sffnet account) and I can send you the basic files I've worked up, so you can see what I wanted for the revamp. We'd be talking about quarterly updates, probably...

I use the Ev1 account for most business. You can send files there--just don't attach too much to one e-mail, the MailWasher will yell at us.

I see you're a Ring Girl. I just joined SFWA's again, but didn't put a counter on my site, so no idea whether it brings traffic.
