Yes, at this point I am still planning on going. No, not positive what I'm on for paneling, because I'm scheduled for a mess of things I know nothing about, and also five hours straight on Saturday, which is not happening because if I don't eat a meal I fall over. I think I will make the late night panels Friday and Saturday. Otherwise, we'll see what the programming head was thinking. H/She was not reading the sheet I sent them, obviously.

UPDATE: Well, there's nothing like a 180 late at night. I had six hours of *&^% yesterday, making mistakes that could have gotten me killed on the highway, before calm returned and I got a full day's work done in three hours. I can't do a convention like that, and I'm still trying to make sure I have my meds by the end of next week, at least. They're talking an eight day turn-around, so I will need a short extension of the other drug, which I perceive as less effective. I just pray this doesn't mean another month of the less effective drug.

I hate this. Especially since I know Ardath Mayhar had to cancel for health reasons, and [livejournal.com profile] rachelcaine for deadline reasons. Fortunately, Aggiecon usually has a nice crop of regional writers, as well as Todd McCaffrey and Steven Brust, I believe.

So y'all go and have fun for us!

Same here -- I was programmed for a Writing 101 class at 12:15 PM on Friday, even though I told them I wouldn't be there until 4:00 PM at the earliest.

I think we have that student roll-over stage in action, here. Newbies handling programming . . ..
