Getting down to brass tacks

Finally -- a quote for Democrats to explain why they're upset about the NSA mess:

"The founding fathers didn't trust George Washington with unlimited power. Why should we trust George Bush?"

From a new ad being run on TV in New York for Sean P. Maloney, who is running for Attorney General of New York. Mr. Maloney says that if elected, he will file a complaint in federal court demanding that the NSA domestic eavesdropping program be stopped in New York state.

I suppose the Democrats really can't use the other image to stop NSA in its tracks. ("Picture President Hilary Clinton with this authority.")

Oh, we should!! We SHOULD! I'm not at all in favor of Hillary for President, so we might as well use the idea of her victory to prove the point :)

It *is* an idea. There are things to respect about Hillary, but I don't think she'll ever be president -- there are too many people polarized about her in concept. It would be a red flag, and frankly, we don't have time to indulge ourselves in bull baiting. Global warming and a possible war with Iran (courtesy of the Bushites, who need an emergency to frighten people into "not changing horses in mid-stream") say we must play for keeps next time around.
