Last year David and I got taken in by NPR's 'table syrup' story while driving around Kerrville.

Now that was a great April Fools joke. Got us, hook, line and sinker without causing us heart palpatations.

We were just working up to 'moral outrage' when we realized we'd been had.

I missed that one. I like a good spoof as much as the next person, but I admit this one pushed my buttons. I just hope the Bush gang didn't read it and say, "Gee, I wonder...?"
