Astonishing....

Occasionally (actually, I don't know if it's occasionally, always, or only once) she'll build the horse, take the wood down, cast the pieces in bronze, and then reassemble them. One of her bronze horses is in a museum in Stanford.

I never saw so many of her pieces, though. They are indeed fabulous.

Wow, so lifelike and yet so--I don't know almost like skelatons come to life.

Some of them remind me of the horse monument in Washington state along the Columbia River.
