And in other news -- The Forces of Darkness have taken advantage of the intermittent thunderstorms, and the pool is an interesting green. We have attempted the "shocking the $%^$#@ out of it" tack, and now have pursued Neutrality and rebuilding the Total Alkalinity. The pool laughs at our algaecide.

But the kraken is unimpressed, and has not moved in. I have prayed and done the Die, Algae, Die! dance, and am confident tomorrow will be a better day.

bevhale is behind, and leaving OK at Oh dark thirty tomorrow to hit Austin on her way south to Apollocon. M is in tow, with the work computer, but better than not seeing him at all.

I have been promised a new flourless chocolate cake recipe. Everyone needs a little Bev in their life!

Room is ready -- need to figure out what to take and pack it. And sleep before doing more webbing (my focus sucks rocks, troops, that's all there is to it.)

I'm really looking forward to seeing you and bevhale and W. (if he's coming) and M. And it's nice to have my own in tow, as well. It's been almost 9 months and I'm still getting used to the idea.

For me, the funny thing is, I missed reading LJ, like, two weeks? And then suddenly there is someone in your life! I missed the first "eyes meeting eyes"!

Yeah, I know -- very silly and took up too much time today. But I was zeroed from working on the pool, so it was my speed.
