You know, my sweetie (an upper-level manager) would fire his ass...

Bush is now announcing that he will not comply with Congress's most recent law -- one requiring minimal standards for the head of FEMA. Why does all this not seem horrifying to everyone, including the people who watch Fox? I'm beginning to think that the only ad the Dems and Greens should be running is: "USA gave Bush the right to ignore legislation! President Hilary Clinton promises to use these powers 'less than my predecessor.'"

It's all fine and dandy when it's their son of a bitch, but when it's our bitch, they're going to scream blue bloody murder to get back the laws they destroyed.

I suspect that will be the case. As long as enough people start screaming, we may have a chance to undo this -- before we need guns to take back our constitution.
