It appears I may have gotten off lightly--the graphics card fan is no longer revolving, so W. is off to the Church of Fryes to get a part. I did not wake him for this reason, I might add--I woke him because I thought the garage was on fire.
Nope. I'd completely forgotten that fertilizer can smell like it's burning--in fact, with enough dry grass and the right conditions, mulch piles have been known to catch on fire! But usually they're BIG mulch piles, with specific things added to form the right mix. Well, our stuff was mixed by a professional, and since there's more to spread, W didn't rinse the wheelbarrow thoroughly, just lightly.
