You remember COSMOS, don't you?

We lost Carl Sagan ten years ago -- but I still remember his TV show, and the gentle tolerance he shared with all.

His wife Ann Druyan's blog today:

What a great remembrance. Everyone knows about his brilliance and eloquence, but very few know about him as a person.

I'm really glad I picked up the updated Cosmos DVDs; it was a real treat to see the series again.

Updated? In what way? I was wondering if they had aged well...

It was just a minor update. Most of the series has aged extremely well. There's a new segment at the end of each episode with Carl Sagan explaining the advances that had been made in the time since Cosmos was released. Nothing major has changed for the most part.
