But if you impeach Cheney, won't shrub appoint someone jsut as likely to give him a pardon and or give Cheney a pardon himself????

If we prosecute Cheney on the traitorous acts he's committed, getting impeached is the least of his worries. And then The Shrub. I think it would throw Bush such a curve that he would probably choose one of his father's former staff -- which mostly would be a big improvement. I don't think Baker, for example, will twist the constitution into tatters.

But shrub wouldn't choose Baker, because Baker thinks it's time to step down from Iraq.
