More on Pet Food Recalls and Dog-friendly cars (That's the Element...)

The pet food recall has led me to Pet Connection, where they also have other news for pet owners. incandragon, they are currently favoring the Element in their evaluation of "vehicles for dog owners".

I think the Element isn't the most attractive car, but I have some friends with a big dog, and they love it. Allie (the dog) can lie in comfort with plenty of room when they take her to/from the dog park or elsewhere. And I guess it's easy to keep clean, too. But it's clearly their Allie-mobile.

It's an ugly car, but boy, with dogs and kids and blood, it rocks, according to a friend who has one. Funny that Honda pitched the Element to young males as a commuter/outdoor double threat -- and it was not a "chick magnet" so it was gonna bomb. Then soccer moms and dog owners found it.
