More on Pet Food Recalls and Dog-friendly cars (That's the Element...)

The pet food recall has led me to Pet Connection, where they also have other news for pet owners. [livejournal.com profile] incandragon, they are currently favoring the Element in their evaluation of "vehicles for dog owners".

I think the Element isn't the most attractive car, but I have some friends with a big dog, and they love it. Allie (the dog) can lie in comfort with plenty of room when they take her to/from the dog park or elsewhere. And I guess it's easy to keep clean, too. But it's clearly their Allie-mobile.

I agree --

It's an ugly car, but boy, with dogs and kids and blood, it rocks, according to a friend who has one. Funny that Honda pitched the Element to young males as a commuter/outdoor double threat -- and it was not a "chick magnet" so it was gonna bomb. Then soccer moms and dog owners found it.

A match made in heaven!
