Bad news? I am 22nd on a waiting list for the WFC hotel. This may blow my going out of the water. Even if the next couple of months go swimmingly for health, I know better than to play the tram game. It didn't work in College Station, it didn't work at NorWesCon the second time I went, and I know better than to trust it now.

I would contact the WFC chair and let him know you have some health issues and see if he can help any. They're trying to work with those folks to get them rooms, but obviously there isn't any guarantee this early out.

Also, and speaking from experience: they'll get a lot of cancellations the closer we get to WFC. We had a ton of cancellations in the last month, because people made reservations at the hotel on spec, and then when their travel plans didn't happen, they let their rooms go.
