WTF?

I added a friend's RSS feed, and suddenly everything she's posted since February came down the pike.

Oh, well, I needed to catch up.

When a person using a blogger type blog republishes their blog (usually after editing something in the blog code itself, or changing old entries) the entire thing will show up on an RSS feed. It periodically happens to me with any one of several of the RSS blog feeds I have on my LJ friends list.

She was trying to set up the feed from her side; that may have triggered the result.

I only have three feeds, I think -- and the laurell hamilton one stopped working a while ago. I may have to cancel that and then re-install...

Whenever a new feed is added, a bunch of messages seem to get added--pulled in, essentially--at once.
