Note to Self:

I am sure the nice lady at San Francisco's Nordstrom's was telling me the truth that the Clinique Milk Bath make-up remover is the gentlest they now have (they no longer carry the eye makeup remover I've used for 15 years) and that she loved it.

However, for me, if it gets into the eyes, it burns like H#$! Just what I need in an EYE makeup remover.

A word to the wise.

They do still sell an extremely gentle eye makeup remover. So...another trip, sometime.... Planning a south trip Tuesday. Or perhaps tomorrow AM on the way out of town....

when are you leaving?

[identity profile] alfreda89.livejournal.com 2007-06-21 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
In 90 minutes to a friend's house. Tomorrow AM for the convention. Why?

Can't get much more gentle than baby oil.

[identity profile] alfreda89.livejournal.com 2007-06-21 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Baby oil used to be mineral oil, and had fragrance.

Of course, it may have improved since I was in high school.

Study may be required....

If you need something from Nordies and you're comfortable with me mailing it, I can certainly go to the mall here and get it for you. I hate to see you wait till you go back to SF.

Thanks, but not necessary -- I just went ahead and bought girlie stuff in SF since I had already spent my dress shoe budget for the next ten years.

Clinique is sold at Dillard's (or Macy's or whoever they are right now...) so I can call before I leave and see if they have any.

Are you in SF? Or simply near a Nordstrom's?

OOps, I'm sorry! I thought I was answering ApricotTree! I know where you are! Also, there's a Sephora in Arboretum Market, apparently, so will check there first.

Well, we're bound to get to Seattle eventually! Maybe we can do tea and flourless something!

Now -- MUST PACK AND LEAVE HOUSE......

I like Bliss Lid and Lash, but you may have to order it online unless there's a Bliss Spa...or maybe a Sephora...in Austin.

I think there's a Sephora in one of the malls...just not sure which one. Their web site will probably tell me. Thanks for the suggestion --

Hang in there.
