I was mightily tempted today in Group W (yes, we have a shop called Group W Bench, I love this town) that said "support cell stem research. Grow Bush a brain."

OOoooo....

I like that. But if we did, would Shrub fight Darth Cheney for control of the government?

We REALLY need to plug that rat hole at the US Navel Observatory...

Amen to that! At this point, though, I'm slightly hopeful that there won't be one. Unless there's another major terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Even then, it's dicey...

Watch for the subtle stuff about Iran...Cheney is gently pushing, pushing.... Fortunately, there is rioting going on in Iran right now. (And US news is not discussing it, isn't that interesting?) Perhaps the Iranian people realize that we may impeach Cheney and Bush, but not before Iran gets bombed. So they need to take the future into their own hands.

The White House has refused the subpoenas. Could get interesting. Last time I saw a president resign, I was in Michigan. The idea is very attractive -- a VP resignation to even things up.

He could even say he's on the verge of the last heart attack, to save face.

Cheney's really hot about providing the lunatics with more war porn and he's been quietly scuttling any progress that Condi's made calming things down in the Middle East. The blogs have been documenting his game for years. Now even the mainstream media is beginning to cover it -- there was a devastating four-part series in the Washington Post on Cheney a few days ago. Between that series and his latest "I'm not part of the executive branch" lunacy I think he's on the run. I hope, I hope.

We hope!
