It's time to do this to my cats....

This has been the week of finding things that remind me of Suri. This one is just silliness:

It shouldn't take much at all, and you probably want to get it into their nostrils so that they can't easily lick it off.

Mine avoid locations where I have placed an edamame pea's worth of Noxema. Similar concept, I imagine!

Ah -- this could be useful long-term. I'd also like to keep them from scratching certain things, but although they like scratching posts, they also like nubby fabric on chairs...

other nice-to-you potent oils they don't like so much. Mine love the nubby fabric, too. For a tiny aesthetic hit, I put clear packing tape on my couches, a careful sheet made of multiple strips to cover their favorite scratching spots. They don't like THAT texture at all.

This might work. Merlyn LOVES to chew through adhesive -- clear tape, self-sticking things, duct tape -- he loves them all. So as long as none of it hangs off as an enticement, this has promise. Thanx --
