So -- I not only forget the packet of tickets, itinerary, reservation info, etc. when I headed off to San Francisco this weekend, I get back and promptly leave my purse in a restaurant.

I can SEE the damn thing through the window!

Left a message on their answering machine. Obviously, it's time to strap on a hip pouch again....

I was so focused on seeing the doctor, I completely forgot you might be nearby -- I tried another web friend, who is outside of LA, it turns out. I was thinking you were in the film biz, and that was more LA.

Unless something is very wonky, I'll be back in April. Shall we try for a meal then? You can meet my PhD Tudor Economics/library to die for W -- and he's fun, too!
