Eyetracking points the way to effective news article design

More confirming the "F" pattern of web design, and also including the currently amusing pass-around that shows a photo of George Brett at bat. The women were focused on his face, while the men alternated between face and crotch.

On another site (the one I came from) a commenter claimed that this was the strike zone. Well, yes...the belt is. But there's almost always a cut to the pitcher releasing the ball. Apparently, men also check out even the equipment of dogs when asked to browse the American Kennel Club site.

So yes -- between thinking about women and comparing themselves to other males, perhaps men ARE thinking about sex every 3 seconds... ;^)
