MAPS! I love maps!

And so does [livejournal.com profile] sheilagh. Look what she found -- a wonderful use of Flickr!

I may need to get an account.

I must learn how to do that! Do you create that with Flickr or do you create it somewhere else and then transfer it to Flickr? That is too cool!

I don't know -- I'm not already a member, so I don't know what Flickr's abilities are. Some of the mapping places are becoming sophisticated; it may be Google beta maps! Photoshop could make the overlaps -- so could Dreamweaver (like a site map over a pic).

Let me know when you find out!

I did it! I went to Yahoomaps.com and found the map. I clicked for a printable version. When the window came up, I didn't print, I right-clicked and saved it. Then I went to Flickr and uploaded the map. Up at the top of the photo box (the image of the map that I uploaded), there is an option "add note". I clicked this and it provided a text box and a box to put on the map anywhere I wanted it. It was actually quite easy! I love it! I sent the Flickr page to my cousins who shared the Cabin 77 experience with me.

Most fun!

Excellent!

Thanks for sharing -- in my copious free time, I will do a few maps!
