SPAM and other random thoughts of the day...redux

I'm now averaging 950 pieces of SPAM a day, from one of my sys admin jobs. It's easier to dump it here than go to the sites. Accordingly -- if you send me something you think I would respond to, and after several days I haven't, try again -- with a different email address, if you have one. Because I no longer scan SPAM for real mail -- I just dump it.

I'm getting about that much in my personal email. sigh. I didn't realize so many men needed a bigger penis, or viagra. Removal of that would get rid of about 75% of my spam. arrrggghh

I was more like 10 a day for personal mail. Not feeling well enough to see if I can do an auto-dump at that site. Need to check and see if the other big site has a massive box, too.

I'm getting it because of a pass-through from a site that obviously isn't locked down to my standards (ho-ho, thus speak the Neo Admin.) I didn't get a lot before -- maybe ten a day -- but they were common ones -- the PayPal crap, and rarely, a Nigerian scam or Ebay one -- and mostly Viagra type and even weirder ads for men who don't understand that their biggest sex organ is their brain... ;^)
