The spirit lives...
Many of you understand that the games The Republicans and especially Tom DeLay played with voting and redistricting caused havoc in many states. In Texas, the districts now look a lot like that mythical gerrymander critter. At Prairie View A&M University, as is often the case, the status quo certainly didn't want all those students voting. So they placed the early voting place seven miles away from the school.
The students responded by closing down the highway as they walked the seven miles to vote on the first day of absentee voting.

No matter whom they voted for, I'm very proud of them.

In other news, I find I am exhausted. So much for driving myself to a convention and then back. I hope for useful work tomorrow.
