Dark and Light--
Gloom. I'm sure I slept with my mouth open Saturday and Sunday, because of the ragweed backlash. And that caused horrible pain in my face, which I mistakenly thought was masseter--understandable, since the left side of the face always has a tighter muscle. Then I got smart last night and double-checked the pain locations in my trigger point book.
I no longer think this is masseter pain, I think it's upper trapezius, which is painful to work on with trigger points and awkward at best to do Hold-Stretch-Release on yourself. But it improved when I tried it, so I soldier on.
W stayed home from dance for various reasons (I'm sitting this session out, since it's a poster child for shoulder re-injury) and made us hamburgers later on, and I finished the first pass of the actual revised synopsis to BLIND TIGER. Ta-Da! Now, editing for most important details for three concentrations--mystery, supernatural and romance--and then polishing for language choices to reveal my writing style.
But first things first. Celebrate! Celebrate! %^)

Anyway, sorry you were in pain.

Or %^)= Me in glasses grinning!
Thanx--you should have seen me, I discovered the pain receded when I lay on my back, head turned one way and arm over my head trailing off table. HOW did I manage to strain it in that position? Perhaps sleeping with my arm over my head, or trying to spare the sore shoulder. The cats came and sat on me--W should have taken pictures. It's improved today--we actually went dancing last night and out for nibbles with friends. Only had to slink off and stretch oddly twice.
Ill this AM, but that may be/is probably unconnected. I'm just hoping it is not the Celebrex--don't want to go back to aspirin all day every day...
