Naw -- there are still people out there who think Palin's a pistol, and think she'd make a great VP. Obviously, these are people who think you can learn on the job at the second most important/feared job/position in the world.
Good news -- a friend whose 80+ parents ALWAYS vote Republican are voting for Obama. They're still worried he doesn't have the experience to handle this (Biden made them feel better about the package) but when Palin was announced, McCain lost them.
I don't know about you, but I'm voting in early voting...check and see if your state allows it. And get your vote in there NOW. McCain supporters are trying to pull people out of lines to read stuff, and precincts are not letting you vote if you show up wearing any political tee shirt. (NC recently, and it's happened in TX before.)
