I voted yesterday. The Randall's on Breaker and 183 has their act together. The two hour wait is now 15 minutes. May I remind all Austinites that a) if on Election Day a hurricane blows in through the gulf, getting to the polls will be a nightmare, b) if someone is going to try and mess with the early voting, there's time to catch them before Election Day, and c) If the polls are 15 minutes/2 hours right now, what do you think they will be like on ED?

Bring a book or a friend. Your voter's card is nice, but I believe a current driver's license will do it.

Earn your right to say you're an American. Right now, it looks as if this will be either the year we reclaim our Constitution, or the year we stepped closer to a fascist theocracy.

Perhaps it is because the Obama voters put signs in their yards and on their cars, instead? ;^)

Where I live someone has been stealing the Obama signs. Put one up and it dissappears OVERNIGHT! Is this happening elsewhere?

We're having a bit of that. It's like Fundie kids and Texas A&M U prying the Darwin fish off people's cars. My Christianity does not exclude evolution, so I find this grimly amusing.

The Christian fundie groups are even uniting with fundie Muslims to get what they want. (What they really want is a battle to settle the whole thing. I wish we could wall them all up somewhere and let G-g sort it out....)
