A Question for A.I.G.: Where did the money go?

We're talking billions loaned by the government -- and of course A.I.G. cannot -- or will not -- tell us how it is spending this money.

And it's OUR money.

Based on what's been observed elsewhere, it's going for:

Dividends to investors

Bonuses to executives

Executive pay raises

Retreats, conferences, and grouse shoots

Campaign contributions to McPalin and downticket GOP races

Bribery

Corruption

and

of course

Numbered accounts in countries without extradition treaties with the U.S.

It would probably be like K-Mart -- someone buys them, but they won't honor the original stock shares.

If you can move fast, see if you can sell the actual certificates on Ebay....
