A Question for A.I.G.: Where did the money go?

This is probably TMI for most of you, but here's the NYC link --

We're talking billions loaned by the government -- and of course A.I.G. cannot -- or will not -- tell us how it is spending this money.

And it's OUR money.

Not that I'm an expert

But gone is gone. Best to get AIG out, painful though it is :-/.

Yuck.

Again, not an expert.

It would probably be like K-Mart -- someone buys them, but they won't honor the original stock shares.

If you can move fast, see if you can sell the actual certificates on Ebay....

Based on what's been observed elsewhere, it's going for:

Dividends to investors

Bonuses to executives

Executive pay raises

Retreats, conferences, and grouse shoots

Campaign contributions to McPalin and downticket GOP races

Bribery

Corruption

and

of course

Numbered accounts in countries without extradition treaties with the U.S.

Unfortunately --

I suspect you are correct.

I honor them with a deadly bacteria....

I just want AIG to pay us the two days they owe us from the Trip Insurance policy for our week in Galveston. Cut short by Ike, naturally.

Now you know that's too specific!
