Hi, my name's Alfreda....

...and I am a tea addict.

No, really.

Two packing boxes full of tea and tea paraphernalia....I lost track of teapots after six -- and they weren't in the dedicated tea boxes!

Once again, packing, tossing and moving on, leaving destruction like a swarm of locusts.

I am not being overly messy, but I am not sweeping up spilled spice, either. Must keep moving....

Now, I think I will put a jar of miso in the car, along with the last of the pumpkin bread, and head to Kerbey Lane. I need something to stick to the ribs.

Will also get the boom box before leaving, so music is possible. I unpack pantry boxes while waiting for meals to settle.

And yes, I am sleeping...quite well, actually. The cats are calm, I am calm, slept six straight hours with no wake-ups...and half the support meds as usual.

I may be living proof that stress amongst animals can destroy the health of their people.

Now, if I can only snag better parking spaces....

I'm so relieved to hear you're feeling a bit better after the move. Yes, all the little stressed can add up!

Umm, if you'd like to part with a teapot or two, I'm sure an equitable arrangement could be made. Tea is now a much bigger part of my life and I don't have a teapot.

Let's see what I find after opening all the mysterious boxes.

I don't have a green tea pot -- what are you drinking?

I'm mostly drinking Tazo green teas at the moment. Haven't gone for your macrobiotic tea yet, but it's on the plan.

You appear to be in your place and online. Huzzah! Do you have a phone number yet? Have you found your kitchen stuff yet? How is unpacking going? I'm still fighting the bug, and am more than half way through the antibiotics, but I seem to be getting a little better. Now have given something to Beloved Husband, tho. He's not hornking up a lung yet, just tired and feeling bad. We are living on juice, vitamin c and soup. Hurray for soup. Hope you get unpacked very quickly and are well in no time. Love you.

Well, not exactly...

The computer is still in the office -- I may take my laptop tonight. Depends -- I usually have to park a block away, so no heavy lifting tonight.

On the other hand -- I got a Road Runner acct, for the time being. Progress....

So are you living at the apt? are you close to having everything moved? Are you feeling any better? How are the boys taking to the move? Have you found your silverware? I hope things are going well and that you are getting things unpacked and sorted.

Sleeping in the apartment. Not cooking there yet, but unpacking many parts of pantry. Boys are there and seem relaxed and happy -- I haven't even used Feliway yet. Boxes everywhere. Office full. Sleeping pretty well. Have just set out boxes to set piles from addition into -- like a box for things that were barrister shelf stuff, etc. Eating a late black bean enchilata with green tomatillo sauce and three cheeses -- I need this recipe!

Probably will not empty box room (my part) yet. Will let Kasey's son set up DVD and cable box tomorrow. About to give up looking for shelf from entertainment center. Sigh.

Tea, the elixir of the gods. Healthy, too.

Available in decaf for those late hours.

Should've splurged for a genuine Russian samovar.
Teapots and kettles are okay, but they know how to do it right in those frigid climes.

I'm openminded....

I could see getting a samovar....
